Wires

Black and White Photograph by Robert David Atkinson.

"Amidst the concrete jungle, a collective sadness gripped the hearts of birds. High above the bustling streets, they observed their avian companions becoming entangled in the intricate web of human wires. Thoughts of anguish filled their minds as they witnessed their kin struggle, their wings losing their freedom in a world not designed for their graceful flight. The birds yearned for open skies, where the wind would carry them effortlessly and their songs could resound without obstruction.

The birds resolved to bring awareness to their plight in the depths of their sorrow. They gathered in flocks, their somber chirps merging into a poignant chorus. Their unified cries carried a message, appealing to humanity's empathy and urging for more harmonious coexistence. The birds hoped that their melodic plea would touch the hearts of those below, awakening a realization of human wires' impact on their avian counterparts. They longed for a future where the skies would be unburdened by obstacles, birds could soar freely once more, and the sorrow in their thoughts would transform into a symphony of joy." – RDA
