Winter Finches
They were never seen apart. They kept near each other, in the hedges and along fence lines, and through the winter, they stayed even closer. When snow drifted, they moved as one, jumping from branch to branch, sharing whatever seeds they could find. Through wind and frost, they were always together, sharing warmth and companionship in the chill of winter.
